OUR MOST POPULAR QUESTION: "WHY BLACK?"
The number one question we always get asked is “why black?” When I mean number one question, I promise you, every single person who sees the house, stops, stares to take it in and asks the same question! It always makes me smile.
To be fair, I absolutely love answering this question. We knew it would be a conversation piece from the day we purchased the paint.
My answer every single time is, “WHY NOT BLACK?”
We know of course a dark exterior is not for everyone, but we love when a home complements its surroundings. To us, the dark exterior and wood accents are a great pair with the land. Living in the Florida country, your land is pretty much green all year long. Our goal was to pick a color that not only complemented all the surrounding greenery, but also complemented the home. Bringing a northern feel to the south.
Being an older ranch style house, with its own beautiful imperfections, we needed life brought back into it. Our vision was to bring a modern, country home feel to the exterior and the property. Black paint did just that. The dark exterior with wood/brass accents create a moody, lived in yet modern feel and I’m all here for it.
